DAY 01: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG

Approx. 100 km / 3–3.5 hrs

Arrive at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, where you will be welcomed and assisted by our representative/driver.

Begin your scenic journey towards Shillong, the charming capital of Meghalaya, known for its rolling hills, pleasant climate and beautiful landscapes.

En route, visit Umiam Lake, a picturesque man-made reservoir surrounded by the lush Khasi Hills. Enjoy the panoramic views of the lake and take some time for photographs.

Continue your scenic drive through the winding mountain roads and arrive in Shillong.

Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.

In the evening, visit Police Bazaar, the vibrant commercial hub of Shillong, where you can explore local shops, cafés, restaurants and markets.

DAY 02: SHILLONG SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, proceed for a full day of sightseeing in Shillong, popularly known as the “Scotland of the East.”

Begin with a visit to Elephant Falls, one of Shillong's most popular natural attractions. Enjoy a short walk through the lush surroundings to admire the cascading waterfall.

Next, visit Shillong Peak, one of the region's highest viewpoints, offering panoramic views of Shillong city and the surrounding Khasi Hills. Visibility is subject to weather conditions.

Continue to Ward's Lake, a beautiful man-made lake surrounded by landscaped gardens and peaceful walking paths.

Later, visit the Don Bosco Museum, an impressive cultural museum showcasing the traditions, lifestyles, costumes, crafts and heritage of the indigenous communities of Northeast India.

Return to the hotel after sightseeing.

The evening is at leisure to relax or explore Shillong at your own pace.

DAY 03: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI – SHILLONG

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Mawlynnong and Dawki, travelling through the scenic landscapes of the Khasi Hills.

First, visit Mawlynnong Village, renowned for its cleanliness, lush greenery and beautifully maintained surroundings. Take a leisurely walk through the village and experience the peaceful charm of rural Meghalaya.

Visit the Mawlynnong Sky Viewpoint, an elevated bamboo structure offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and, on clear days, the plains of Bangladesh.

Continue towards Dawki, a picturesque border town located close to the India-Bangladesh border.

Visit the beautiful Umngot River, famous for its exceptionally clear waters and scenic surroundings.

Spend some time beside the river and, subject to weather, water levels and local operating conditions, you may opt for a boat ride at an additional cost.

Later, drive back to Shillong through the beautiful countryside.

DAY 04: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJI

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Cherrapunji, one of Meghalaya's most celebrated destinations, renowned for its waterfalls, caves, mist-covered hills and dramatic landscapes.

En route, visit Mawsmai Cave, a natural limestone cave featuring fascinating rock formations and narrow passages.

Continue to Nohkalikai Falls, one of Meghalaya's most spectacular waterfalls. Admire the breathtaking views of the waterfall surrounded by lush green valleys and dramatic cliffs.

Next, visit Seven Sisters Falls, a magnificent multi-tiered waterfall cascading down the cliffs towards the plains. The waterfall is best viewed during suitable weather conditions.

Later, visit Eco Park, a scenic viewpoint offering panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and waterfalls.

Proceed to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities.

The evening is at leisure to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Cherrapunji.

Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

DAY 05: CHERRAPUNJI – GUWAHATI – DEPARTURE

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey towards Guwahati.

Enjoy the scenic drive through the hills and valleys of Meghalaya as you make your way back to Assam.

Upon arrival in Guwahati, proceed to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
